I graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola and received my degree in Business Management, a minor in Marketing, and a certificate in Human Resources. In my junior year, I joined and quickly became the President of the American Marketing Association (AMA) with over 30 members. During my time as President, I treated this student organization as a business to help me prepare for the world after graduation. The key skills I learned in this position included having a clear purpose and mission to give the organization a direction, managing a budget and how to raise money, communication within the organization and the community, and how to come off as a professional. My degree and involvement at the University of West Florida has greatly prepared me for what was to come next.

I moved back to the Chicago Land area of my hometown in Cary to begin my career as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in the state of Illinois. I started working for mortgage banker called Emerald Mortgage Corporation to help people get approved for a mortgage.
